The thoughts of everyone at Everton Football Club are with Lewis Jones, who was seriously injured during an explosion in New Ferry, Wirral.
The 21-year-old, who is a passionate Evertonian, remains in a critical condition at The Walton Centre as a result of the explosion on Saturday 25 March.
Club Ambassador Graeme Sharp said: “We are all deeply saddened to hear of what Lewis is going through. The thoughts of everyone at the Club are with him and his family at this incredibly difficult time."
A statement issued by Lewis’ mum Maureen and his brother Jonathan read: “Lewis is a lovely lad.
