Ronald Koeman has left no doubt about Everton’s push to compete with football’s elite, insisting if the Blues are “not a Club with ambition, I would not be the manager”.
The Toffees boss says everyone at the Club is determined to “get the best and strongest team we can”, as his squad close in on securing European football for next season.
With Everton currently seventh in the Premier League and having already amassed 47 points – the same finishing total as the previous two campaigns – the Dutchman pointed to the progress being made.
And with more work set to be done this summer, Koeman is confident the Blues can compete with the best.
