He’s scored in every game he’s played in this month - so it’s no surprise that Romelu Lukaku has been nominated for the Premier League’s EA Sports Player of the Month for March.
The Blues striker netted at Spurs on 5 March and also in the 3-0 home win over West Brom six days later, before taking his tally for the month to four goals from three matches with a late double in last weekend’s 4-0 success against Hull City at Goodison.
The Belgian, who currently tops the Premier League scoring charts with 21 goals, is up for the award alongside Bournemouth keeper Artur Boruc and his Cherries teammate Joshua King, Southampton’s Nathan Redmond, Mamadou Sakho of Crystal Palace and Liverpool’s Georginio Wijnaldum.
