Morgan Schneiderlin welcomed a “perfect” day after bagging his first Blues goal in the 3-0 victory over West Brom.
The midfielder took delight in repaying Evertonians for their support since he signed from Manchester United in January by netting for the Toffees in first-half injury-time.
After great work by Romelu Lukaku, the Frenchman took two exquisite touches before arching a shot over Ben Foster.
It was the first time Schneiderlin has found the back of the net since scoring for United against the Blues last season – and he insisted he meant his outside-of-the-boot finish, despite lighthearted jokes from Phil Jagielka.
