Georgia will already be without the services of defensive tackle Trenton Thompson this spring, as the big man has withdrawn from school to deal with some health concerns. Now it looks like the Dawgs’ defense will also be without the team’s top 2016 tackler, Roquan Smith. The rising junior from Macon County is expected to miss spring practice while recuperating from surgery on a torn pectoral muscle according to a report from DawgPost.com.
This is not new territory for the inside linebacker, as Smith missed reps during spring practice last year following wrist surgery.
