Rams Waive C Demetrius Rhaney

The Los Angeles Rams are placing C Demetrius Rhaney on waivers Tuesday, according to his agent Christina Phillips.

Rams are releasing client Center/Guard Demetrius Rhaney. Rhaney, drafted in 2014, has been with the Rams as the backup center for 3 years.

This means that the Rams will move forward with John Sullivan, Austin Blythe and Jake Eldrenkamp as their centers for training camp.

Rhaney, 24, is a former seventh-round pick of the Rams back in 2014. He’s currently in the final year of his four-year, $2,265,896 contract and stands to make a base salary of $690,000 for the 2017 season.
