Timberwolves Notes: Rookies on Kris Dunn

The (fake) accolades continue to roll in for the Minnesota Timberwolves.

NBA.com conducts a series of intriguing preseason surveys each year. One of the more recent releases was the survey conducted among 38 NBA rookies in early August, and the results are favorable for Kris Dunn.

The Timberwolves rookie point guard was chosen as the most-likely Rookie of the Year award winner by his fellow rookies with 29 percent of the vote. He was followed by #2-overall pick, Brandon Ingram of the Lakers, who received 25.8 percent.

Top pick Ben Simmons only garnered 19 percent of the vote with eight other rookies receiving at least one vote, including 2015 draft pick Joel Embiid of the Philadelphia 76ers.
