The 2015 NFL season is over, which naturally means the 2016 season is right around the corner. At 4 p.m. ET on March 9, the 2016 league year will officially begin. With it, will come free agency.
Of course, teams aren't going to wait until the official start to the new year to evaluate the pool of potentially available players. On March 7, clubs will be able to contact and negotiate with the agents of pending free agents, but you can bet the evaluation process for most teams started long ago.
We here at Bleacher Report aren't going to wait round until the official start of free agency to evaluate the market, either.
