One year ago, the joke was nobody wanted to win the NFC East. The four teams muddled through the season, winning one, losing two and generally stumbling side by side. This season, the division has regained its roar.
Sunday's game at Washington marks the opening of the NFC East schedule for the Eagles, and it's the first of three games against division foes in a span of four weeks. The Eagles have 12 games remaining in this regular season, with no gimmes, and in fact the collective record of the teams on the schedule ahead makes the Eagles' slate the most difficult in the NFL.
